Who is Clinterval Coaching’s Matt Clinton?
A relatively late starter to National-level competition, Matt didn’t start racing road bikes until the age of 19. A keen mountain-biker before this, a Saturday job at Mike Vaughan Cycles encouraged him to pick up a road bike despite his protests of “never going to wear lycra”.
Fast-forward a few years and Matt has won National Championships and collected a haul of medals. His consistency across disciplines shows his good training practices from season to season.
In 2015, while at a local club TT a few riders approached Matt about coaching. Having already started on the ABCC Coaching qualification, Clinterval Coaching was born. Matt is now a ABCC L3 Qualified Coach.
