In the summer of 2017, Clinterval coach Matt Clinton was approached by Cycling Weekly’s Dr Oliver Bridgewood to coach him for the upcoming hill climb season. Oliver had already completed his “Project 49” in the summer where he’d taken the best training, aero and nutriotional advice to go under 50-minutes in a 25 mile time-trial. This time it was Clinterval’s turn to make Oliver into a hill climbing machine.
